Welcome to the Forum mate, just a shame you picked the wrong colour. Never mind, at least you can't see it from the inside, lol
You'll get used to this banter between the SG and SB boys. Never ends.

Is it this one...? (45,897 miles £26k P### #HR) The one with odd front tyres in the picture that he is going to replace with two matching ones :hahaha:. Obviously been well looked after then !

Yes it is that one.
Tyre was put on to get it through the MOT while waiting for the pilot sports to come in, never really driven on the odd tyres.
I've checked it pretty well, I'm not a complete novice when it comes to cars.....

I was not questioning you mechanical knowledge just my asumption from the pictures albeit an incorrect one. To show a picture of a car that obviously has wrong tyres on it or ill matching at least and then claim Michelin P/S all round is just a bit odd.
Service schedule looks a bit out too. Maybe I have misread it.
Happy driving anyway.
Pip
Welcome Peter..good choice of car ol' bean
should be due an insp II at 50k ish

According to the advert, not only is it black, it's one of the even rarer 5 seat CSLs. Although that 5th person will have to have a specially designed arse :hahaha:
I think the service schedule looks OK, the ad says it has an inspection due in 5K miles which matches OK with the other logged services. It'll be an Insp II next, and it'll come up a bit quicker than 5K miles on the odo.

I've had my 3 kids sat in the back
You just sit one in the middle and cross over the seat belts to lock on the other side!

Neat... Fortunately I only have two of the little buggers, so haven't needed to resort to such solutions.

The last two services are looking like 13-15k miles so
My guess is that the car has not been tracked as this massively reduces the intervals. My cars intervals in last 3 years were 8-10K miles:smokin:
If the previous owner has confirmed it was tracked often then be aware.
Enjoy Peter, I think a respray to SG only costs about £2500 and is a worthwhile long term investment:hahaha:

Some people did actually remove the rear seat partition and put in a proper seat.

Not sure that's entirely true Shim, my car's service intervals have remained around the 14k miles interval - all worked out by the OBC.

But I guess you don't do that many trackdays and the Ring is quite so hard, followed and proceeded bu a gentle drive over.
All I know is that mine can show 6000 miles to service before a TD and 4000 after:whistle:

Ok, i've actually bothered to check my service book and i was talking shite with the 14k miles figure lol
These are the services i have had during my ownership:
Aug 08 - Insp II - 45,869 miles
Aug 09 - Oil Serv - 57,079 miles
Oct 10 - Insp I - 67,706 miles
So around 12k miles between services although i do an additional oil service in between those above. :smokin:

So talking about extremes I guess we are saying 10k for track slags and 15k for motorway cruisers.
Then 20k for Matt ;)

Shimmy ! :smt064 you had to made me look up my Service History booklet, didn't Ya ? :banghead:
Looks like mine had an extra Inspection 1 service, in addition to all the regular servicing and on average my CSL has been serviced every 12 500 miles, and not the 20K you made up :blalalala: ;) However since my ownership that figure has dropped somewhat, down to 10K between servicing  with additional Oil services in between.
