It's glenncsl I bought mine off him, he was running slicks later on but his pads let go so that ended that.

My mate in the trophy went for 4th gear but got 2nd instead and blew a hole in the side of his gearbox and snapped the cam belt

Was a great day. Bath tub was great. :hahaha:

Weather was perfect, had some good fun hounding Duncan, took duncans lad out in the bath-tub he seemed to love it, think he needed spare underwear afterwards:hahaha:.

I had a bad day re my data logging/timing, camera set-ups.
My DL1 would not pick up and any satellites and would not lock, tried everything no joy, was gutted as really wanted to see what it could do on clear laps.:banghead: Think the gps aerial is goosed.

My go pro hero cam would not start recording, it was fine the night before when I put in a fresh card and batteries, but would not go on the day:banghead:

A few of the lads timed me under 2 mins and that was with lots of traffic, in fact there was only about 3 "clear" laps all day, so disappointed to not find out what it could really do. BUT a great day none the less:beer:

It was great as I found some of the weaknesses of the MK, found a bit of understeer, and I know I can brake much later. A great learning curve for me/it.

Gonna tweek the geo, fit some roll bars, fit some slicks and alter the bump/rebound for the 17th with Duncan and his possee.

Good to see Dunc again, meet his lad, (are his undies soiled:hahaha:), meet craig and nige.

Nige it was my little bro Mike in the e30, he loved the battles with you. He said thanks.
And yes nige the yellow angry wasp was my MK, the one of the pic you posted.

I reckon based upon its straight line speed alone that you would be at least 10 secs a lap up on the CSL... SO EASILY A 1:55 inho, some of those slow/medium speed corners crucify the CSL lap time :bigcry:

I thought above 70mph the csl and indy where evenish, just out the slow speed chicanes the MK launches itself out of the corners. And left the CSL.
I was getting understeer a little so need to mess with the settings, like early csl days again.:hahaha:

As stated most say under 2min is quick.

My best is 1.56 on KW clubsports AP brakes, yoko a048 road tyres
Cups are a little grippier so maybe 1.55 on cups. 1.54 on slicks prob.

But as wheels says 1.58 is fast.

Anything under 2 mins and you will be passing 95% of cars there.

Certainly was a good day, good to meet Lawsy, Cheers mate for that Passenger ride was one of if not the most exciting, scary and fun things I have ever done my only issue was my massive fail of grabbing my open face helmet:banghead: (bugs tend to hurt when they hit you at over a tonne).

New pants were not needed in the end but that could be due to me sucking air in through my arse. Was good seeing a few familiar faces, getting there slowly with knowing all of you guys. We ever find the blue scooby in the end? Anyway thanks again Lawsy hope to see you again soon.

Goood vid Nige. Spoke to our mike, he was watching mirrors missing apex and getting too much heat in tyres, his tyres went off at the end of the vid. He said he loved the laps.
He does ok for a youngster only done a few trackdays too. He gets annoyed sometimes wit& his low power, esp when the higher power stuff passrs him on straights then slows him up through the corners.

He was doing fine until I caught him. Its easier to follow than be followed. Hope to see him on track again, I enjoyed those laps.

I have the same issue as him on track, catch slower cars in the corners, watch them move over but keep it pinned, damn frustrating :banghead:
