Hi guys im new to the register. I tried putting up my own thread but it wouldnt let me.

I am also looking to buy a csl low miles under 15000, sg or sb, any options.

I have wanted to buy a csl for a number of years but my finances have not allowed me to, until now!

Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks and all the best

Welcome to the Forum
Not many low mileage CSL left anymore however this one with just 14K miles on the clock, advertised on here seems like a little cracker
Link below and best of luck with your search.

Thanks for the feedback

I was looking at this car but i was thinking its quite highly priced.

I base this comment on the fact that there was one advertised in sussex with 6000miles for £36k which i missed:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

What do you guys think is a fair price to pay for this 14k mile car?

Id say that a car like this one as long as it has had the 1200 mile oil service and regular dealer oil services since (so a BMW warranty was available) would be worth paying £34k for.

If you put less than 5000 miles a year on her youd probably never loose any money!

IMHO that 6000 mile car was incredibly/unbelievably well priced so it's a shame you've missed it however the 14K miles SG on here isn't that much off the mark with it's asking price as these low mileage CSLs demand £32 000 upwards, all day long, unless someone is desperate to get out of one and/or there is something wrong with it
As I said earlier, there are fewer and fewer of these low mileage "Garage Queens" left now and that's reflected by the prices they are demanding these days. Best you get in touch with the owner, arrange a viewing (if it's not too far ) and if the car is as good in metal as it appears on here then hopefully there may be a little bit to manoeuvrability on the asking price.
It's just my 2 pence worth  I wish you luck finding the right car

Thanks guys.

There was also a 16k mile car on piston heads which sold on tuesday for £28k! The car looked even more mint than the 14k mile car at £7k less.......

I'm confused don't know what to do :banghead:

I think at £32k it would be reasonable, at £34k (i know its 'only' 2k) its less tempting.

I tried called the gent but cant get through!

Yes this one right ? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1884352.htm ... we had a discussion about that car a while back... from memory, it had some unusual Service intervals with it's 1200 Running in Service done @ only 500 miles and I think that had put a lot of people off... plus the "Bare Bones" 0 speck

I'd say "keep trying" and maybe send him a pm as well. Regarding the price "if you don't ask you don't get" and there is no harm in asking. I'd say if all is 100% A-OK , £33 K might be a tempting offer to make ;)

i paid £33.5k for ine at 16k in 2006, and i still think thats a fair price now believe it or not for the same car, same mileage

mine ahs a few more miles now so its prob worth only £30k :smokin:

prices for low mileage cars are pretty firm at the moment but if someone is eager to sell and they bought in the last 12-24 months they may well find an offer difficult to refuse

SALE PRICE - i still think £30k is about the 20k mile area and £20k for over 80k miles with good history

everyone ive seen advertise below £20k is bent bad in its history or fire damaged
