I will be at Brands on Friday (test day) and Saturday for the final race in he MSV Trophy series (one step up from trackdays).

I am 'team manager' and tea maker for our two car team TWB Racing. Pop along and look out for the E30M3 and Porsche 968 which are hoping for a decent showing on the last race of 2010

Interestingly it may happen that we run a CSL in 2011 on top of the two current cars so watch this space!

Good to see Yanto on Saturday at Brands:thumbs:

We eventually hired on Friday evening an MX5 (standard mark 1 MX5 series car with 89bhp) and ran this and the 968 in the race on Saturday.

managed a class win in the Porsche  but the MX5 ran out of brake pad about 3 minutes into the race so Clive (on here) drove the remaining 42 minutes with no brakes to being it home about 20/25

If anybody is thinking about racing next year i can recommned the MSV Trackday Trophy. Budget racing with good non contact sport. Mainly cars like Mk2 Golfs, 968, 944, Peugeut 306, and then the odd E30M3, Integra, Clio Cup Car().

4 classes, under 125, 150, 175 and 200 bhp per tonne (measured at the wheels and with driver). Interstingly CSL would get in 200bhp/tonne class and win easily i reckon BUT maybe a little out of the spirit of the series! (what do you guys clock around Brands Indy in the CSL?)

Bealo

We may look at a few cars next year with option of selling seats in at least one every race. Should be easy to sell as there will be the fun of having 3 more similar cars in your team and help in getting thru your first races.

I'll keep you all posted.
