Hi All,
finally got round to taking some decent pics of the new car. Had the wheels re-finished in Anthracite has the finish on the wheels were terrible. Also nice to put your own mark on J
Hope you like!

Good effort Stevie ;) but is this a little dent I see here ?
Also try to colour correct and retouch them all as the car & the wheels looks Golden Grey, unless of course you have a one off "Individual" order CSL ;) :hahaha:

You know, thats the first thing I noticed in that picture too. The joys of shooting in RAW :banghead:
Having just got it (here come the excuses!) I've still to get Acci-dent out to go over it. There are a few things that need sorting, but can't stop driving the bloody thing! Done over 1000miles in it in around three weeks inc a wee stint on Knockhill. That also included being in at BM for three days getting a new caliper!
Matt, I don't use photoshop, just let DxO process them using the default settings. Would love to learn PS, had a copy on my old PC and was ace. Lost it when the HD went tits up though :bigcry:

What's a PC mate  ;) I'm all Apple Mac-ed up here with Photodhop to hand. I hope you don't mind but I've had a little play with one of your pix to show you what I mean about colour correction and retouching  Also the wheels look ACE now too
See if you can spot the difference

You've fixed by dent! Cheers Matt!
Wow, I see what you mean with the colour correction :119:
The lighting in the area looked like high temp lighting (hope thats the correct phrase!) and did give a very 'warm' glow to the pics.
Matt, what can you do for the Portrait photo?

I could straighten it a bit, for a start ;) :hahaha:
Unfortunately your camera wasn't focusing on the car, more on the strong light source on the building behind, as evident by the soft focus at the front & side of the car.
Re: the Colour ... it's more to do with colour temperature measure in Kelvin, not intensity.
If you're shooting with a decent DSLR you can adjust it in the menu under WB (aka White Balance) ;)
Lovely pics mate, I always look at my when it's filthy and the wheels are plastered in brake dust and think they look better darker! :hahaha: :smokin:
Good work too Matt! ;) :hahaha:

Nice pics - i really like the soft glow from the street lights
I'm planning to do my road wheels in a anthracite/gunmetal colour over the winter as my black set is looking a little tired after more than 2 years.
