Do my ears deceive me ? Is that the sound of tired brakes I hear ?

what are you running?

what kind of BTG are you getting round in? Looks a nice smooth drive, my brother would love you because you hardly use the kerbs at all, me I'm all over them like a rash :-)

Here's one of mine if you're interested...

Yes, i think you may be deceived :) The brakes is AP racing bbk, with pagid pads, bought two weeks ago and still going strong ;)

Yeah, i see what you mean with the kerbs. Nice lap by the way, you are really fast.

I have only been @ the ring one day before this trip, so excuse my bad BTG time. The best i got was about 8'20.. Very fun though:thumbs:

Interesting, the brakes seem to drone a bit and the droning got louder as the lap went on. Or perhaps I'm just imagining things.

Nothing wrong with keeping off the kerbs. Its a necessity in the wet :-)

If you are doing 8'20 on your second day at the 'ring, then I'm very impressed indeed. I think people forget how dangerous (potentially) it is trying to do an 8 min lap. 7'45 is my best, set on a closed trackday.

Well, it was not my second day. Was my second trip;) Had one day in the summer and drove 5 days last week.

I agree with you on the risk. I remember thinking this is on the edge, maybe a bit over, of what's safe without a cage. That's why i think i'm going to sell my current M3 and buy a prepped one instead..
