My new look wheels

Hi, just thought i'd post a few pix of my car with new look gloss black wheels. I nearly went for satin black but am glad i went for gloss in the end and think they suit a SG CSL well.

They were done by Vernon and his team at the Wheel Specialist in Fareham, Hants. I was most impressed by them and of the finish quality also and it only cost £350.

I'm now just waiting for my carbon fibre goodies to arrive from CA-Automotive and that's when i'll stop medelling! :thumbs:

Looks like they have done a great job there Glendog74. Not really my cup of tea on a CSL but top quality job and good price :thumbs: ....always had black wheels on the Lotus I've had and they looked great.

What carbon bits are you getting.

I've ordered the carbon fibre SMG surround, 3 part dash strip, side gills and kidney grills. Will be another month or so to wait though :whistle:

The pix were taken where i work/live at the moment - at a Navy airbase in West Cornwall. And yes - it's an awesome place to play in the CSL when everyone has gone home, lol! :-D

Thoose side gills and kidney grills will certaimly set the wheels off a treat. :thumbs:

No worries. I think it looks cool, that's why i went for black! :-D

I like black wheels... but not keen on gloss myself. I think satin is best because otherwise the tyres tend to look brown unless you apply tyre shine every 5 seconds!
