I just had the car in storage for 4 months during the summer.
As expected, the battery was totally dead, so I called BMW Emergency for a Boost start.

During my 1 hour drive home, the Car would produce several loud beeps, coming from the passenger glovebox area, where the ECU is...

it would go

3 Loud Beeps, long intervals

then 5 Other Beeps, short intervals

at other times it would just beep REALLY LOUD about 8 or 9 times

Any ideas?
Should I be worried?

Its its way of saying "Why the Fook haven't you driven me for 4 months!"

Saying that mines stored for the same period over winter, but sorry no beep thou.

Maybe someone planted a bomb in your glovebox? :clown::bigcry:

ecu is not in your glovebox. its in the engine bay top right hand side under plastic cover.

Not sure what is beeping though. haha

Maybe it has to do with the alarm, after the battery being dead.;)
