Chrysler 300C perhaps? I don't know much about them at all but surely below 15k!? Another option could be a nice V8 Audi A or S8?

My choice would be 740i Sport, best you can find.

Alt E39 540i

Mercedes E55 amg, v8 supercharged.

Had 2, and they are fast. Full of toys, and speaking as a mercedes specialist they are reliable too.

Try to get as late as possible. ie 2004 onwards, but should be possible.
Dont let mileage put you off at all, go on history and condition.

A very very good car. Not as tactile as a CSL but would spank it in out right pulling power, mine (admitadly slightly fettled), almost kept pace with superleggera from 80mph upwards.

15K is close to getting a VXR8, just cover the badge over LOL

Cracking car to drive, lovely sound, lots of toys, just keep away from shiney plate glass windows, refection aint the best IMO lol

you would be scraping the barrel buyng a £15k VXR8 - great motor and most likely my next daily drive but £18-20 mre realistic (but by Winter and Double Dip recession £15k might just be the norm!)

Loads of barge bargains at this price and less. As Shim says, 7 series but there must be plenty of Alpinas, Mercs, Jaaaaaag's etc (are clk55 near this now ?). As the nut says, E39 M5 gotta be in the top 3 ?

Or if you were feeling brave - a 7 ltr Jensen Interceptor (black / cream leather) - uber cool :drool::drool:

i found my RS6 a tiny bit boring, as capable a car as it was, but a quattro Audi in Sweatyland might be sueful as it is always snowing and raining there!

A few S8 and S6 around but some nice S4 V8 as well and they look more modern

Hi,

Sub 15K V8-

As Lawsy said the E55 AMG 2004 onwards, they are around
at sub 15k.

If interior space is not an issue, then go for a
2004 + C55 AMG, fit different Supercharger pulleys
and in the real world on everyday roads its as
quick from A to B as anything.

De-badge so only Train-spotters will know what just
passed at Mach speed 9.

Regards,

The Gorilla.
