My CSL wont be going and i dont fancy cruising up in a 116i so if anybody going can give me a lift of meet up so i can hide the 116:thumbs:

I was wanting to take a trip up as it seems to have attracted a fair bit of attention, 700+ infact & can imagine a good days nosey around some nice cars. But too far to make a trip up that way twice if I ever decide to do Bedford the Monday. So a recommended hotel/ peppermint elephant near by would be good?

Well it's here, hopefully you are all still up for meeting to drive up to the PH Sunday Service looks like there are a few of us.
Weather forecast is good :-)

I am guessing it is going to be busy so left plenty of time for chat and / or arriving early to avoid the queues.

Adrian the McDonalds is at Tothill Services on the A34 at Highclere (postcode for those with SatNav RG20 9BX)

Suggest we meet at 07:00hrs at Tothill Services ..... grab some refreshments if needed.


Next stop would be Cherwell Valley Services on M40 A43 junction at 07:45 hrs (hope that is OK Trevor)
(not sure it is open again .... I remember it burnt out during the big freeze earlier in the year)

I met up with Simon (has a very nice red E30 M3, but is thinking about a CSL) at the M40/A43 junct, and we went up from there. Bit of convoy action on the A43 which was fun, and we got there just before it got really busy so didn't have to queue for long.

Lots of nice cars - I did see what I suppose was jeffers' CSL parked up near the building, but no others apart from mine. Few random pics below, there are loads more posted by various people on PH.

I do have a bit of in-car video but am slightly wary about posting it in public :)

I was parked right next to the coffee point / building Outnumbered - next to the GT3 RS's / Sag / GTR - we didnt get there until ~1030 (Shimmy doesn't like me going over 50 mph on public roads :hahaha:).......didnt see you but met Jeffers (good to meet you mate !!) :thumbs:

and bare in mind I have to stop for a weeee every 15 minutes.

Yanto and I stopped at the Super Sausage Cafe and met up with some mates and ex F1 driver !!!! A load if pork, Ade in his M5, 430Scud, TVR Sagaris Nissan NSX, R26R, GTR, and a few more plus 3 bikes.

Yanto managed to loose the convoy in the way up to Silly but I must admit the 911turboS and Sagaris were mental quick. The Sagaris had a transplanted Chevy 7.0litre lump kicking out over 600bhp

Good to say hello gents - and a great journey/weather/turn-out etc. I was late arriving, so left in the cheap seats in the overflow just behind the main strip on the right hand side, close to where that Subaru was parked up.
