Well after several weeks and, various forms of replacements, which ended the Love Truck being my daily ....
The CSL was picked up today, sounds sad, but was so excited to see it ( well heard it first ) pull up at the dealership... jumped in and then realised how much I had missed it, and how fooking good it is... :smokin:
Head Gasket went between 1&2 and 3&4 only which is weird, nothing wrong with the head, although they sent it away and had it skimmed to be sure it was OK when it went back on.
Still was not running well at first, it was flashing up loads of faults as well, oxy sensors, lamber etc etc , so they just replaced all of them, road tested and bingo ... done ...
So happy to have it back ... will miss the truck, had a race with a E92 M3 in it this morning, not quite sure he expected to see the bloody thing on his tail for so long :hahaha:

Glad its back!! still waiting for mine.:bigcry:
Interesting it threw up loads of faults, bit strange. I would keep an eye on it, cam timing is very hard to set on these and car will still run quite well if its slightly out.
Not usual for loads of sensors to fail all at once.
Time will tell.

You'll be fine at Murketts Rob I'm sure, after the initial worry they've done a great job, I spent a fortune on new bits but it was worth it, clutch is the best bit though, this is how it should change gear, awesome! :smokin:

What else did you buy mate?
Umm all sorts, mostly bloody bodywork parts so not covered under warranty! :banghead:
New side repeaters as they'd condensated really badly, £44 a pair! New OSF Indicator lense as that was broken £45! Replaced and bond a roof rail, £66! :bigcry: I spent a fair bit, a smidgen under £1.5K in total with the inspection 2 and £100 excess for the warranty work, still, got a new clutch and associated parts and potentionometer thingy for the flap too! :hahaha:
