335i Touring is in for service. The sales team are trying very hard to do me a deal to trade for an M3 Saloon, hence my wheels for the day. M3 Edition with competition pack, white, fox red leather, DCT, EDC, etc. It goes alright I 'spose.:smokin:

I found it a nice motor. I was thinking the same as you about the CSL style wheels Daz but in the flesh it looks really nice.
I couldn't have the coupe just now anyway. Need 4 doors for the family. But, the saloon is an awesome piece of kit as well. My business pays for my everyday car, so I'm in the fortunate position to not take the depreciation hit myself and with a few "adjustments" manage to avoid the dreaded company car tax.;) They've been trying real hard to get me in an M3 since I bought the 335i. The deal is nice, built to my spec below:
E90 M3 saloon, white, black leather, EDC, DCT, 19" wheels, electric fold mirrors, climate screen, split fold rear seats, through load ski bag, heated front seats, PDC front/rear, Bluetooth phone prep, DAB radio, USB interface, sun protection rear glass, extended storage, extended luggage pack, Harmon Kardon sounds. List price with those options £60,685. I'm currently at £52,625 all in!
They've offered a good trade in for my 335i as well. Very close to doing the deal! Don't think I can help myself.

Oh I don't know mate but if the Business is paying for it, then surely it's a no brainer.
Owning the CSL though, I don't think I could bring myself to own an E9x M3 as well. My sensible head would say have a 335d Touring, but I don't know if I could walk past the CSL every day to get to the oil burner.
It's a Toughy, but you're in a good position and I'm sure your decision would be the wrong one.
Nice spec of motor, not fancy the Red leather though? Or is that getting a bit too long in the tooth now?

Really nice cars.
In my recent brain racker, I had 3 cars on shortlist....
Gtr
M3 e9*
C63 amg
I have had many an amg and work on the fuckers everyday.
The BMW m3 was neck and neck with the gtr, then i test drove a gtr and the hooligan in me made the decision.
I will own one in the future and my mate max from car planet racing has one of the nicest ones around. Their custom exhaust which evolve sell sounds divine.
They are also running 460bhp with full exhaust and map,
The new m3 has quite a bit more grunt than the csl too,
I noticed a considerable difference at spa between the 2, against my porsche 996tt.
Whether it will be as good on track?t
AlexGTT

I'd definately not use the M3 saloon for track and I am keeping the CSL for sure.
The 335i is the first non-M car I've had as an everyday hack for quite a while and I'm really starting to miss them. It's a great car and the engine is brilliant but the handling is not too sharp and feels very spongey. The M3 saloon is a cracking motor speced the way I want it and will still make a practical family tool. It'll stay standard as well. With EDC and M-dynamics it can be set for gentle cruise with the family or sharpened up for a blast. It's next to silent on the motorway.
I'm almost sold on the idea, can you tell?:hahaha: It's only my sensible head holding me back at the moment.

I had the same idea to exchange the 325i with an M3 sedan.
So we went and drove one.
Nice car, it looks nice and it's fast.
I wasn't able to justify to myself the extra cost of this car over our full-extra 325i E90...
I do prefer an RS4, the RS4 sedan has blown me off.
The M3 is good... but high fuel consumption, high running costs and nothing special (my personal opinion) at the end of the day.
Especially the interior design is very wrong.
Expect 12.5 lt/100km with speeds of 130km/h (where the CSL spends 9lt/100km)...

My daily drive is a B7 RS4 in my opinion it is a perfect combo with the CSL . Maybe it is not as fast as a e9x M3 but it is a better highway cruiser/ family car . The interior is also much nicer .

DCT??
Yes DCT, EDC and a few other choice options. White with black or maybe fox red leather. Not sure yet and still have 1 week or so before the spec is locked down for build. At the moment I'm tipping towards fox red but the Mrs has voted black.
I'm sure that can be arranged Rob.

I'd go with red interior, a bit different and nice.
One of my AMG,s had black and red leather, looked really nice.
I know how you feel re the wait, i fly home wed and pick my gtr up after a 5 week wait. Cant wait.
Enjoy it mate. I was really tempted myself with one of these.
Definitely on my to do list.
