Hi guy's,
I've just come back from donnington and twice when giving the CSL some poke there has been a yellow light on the dash that I think said EML and it puts it in to limp home mode until you pull over and switch the engine off then it's ok after that.
Can anyone shed any light on why my car is doing this please?
Thanks.;)

Popped in to see Duncan, Wheels and Dontdobends and saw your shiney CSL, looked superb
Only time EML light come on for me was when throttle sensors went on me.
I think anything emissions related triggers yellow engine light and EML light tends to be a mechanical fault I think but sometimes easy to sort out.

Limp home mode would suggest something other than the usual o2 sensors so worth getting it checked. Could be a coil which is failing once it gets hot, but any number of things could do it.

+1 for the coil or TPS of which there are 4 on the CSL! 3 in the engine bay and one in your accelerator. get it plugged in.

EML light. Could be o2 sensor as I have had it and went into limp mode a couple of times as a result. It comes up on pooter at the dealers.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'll get this checked out as soon as I get back from holiday, just on my way to Birmingham airport.
To top this off though the power steering packed up last night :( don't know if the two faults could be connected???
