I'm up for this, although i'm not booking early with this lot again, last time i did paid full price and then they dropped it by £30 or £40 the week before. and wont refund the deference just offered the reduction the next time i booked at Bedford (only) not off all their products. I see not advantage in being the early bird :gayfight:

You boys must be doing something wrong ( there's a surprise  )
I too had to postpone Snett recently but one phone call to Focused Events and it was all sorted. Full amount put on a credit note, to use at another Focused TD event in the near future... so here I am using my Snett money + a small difference for Bedford, with ease

i popped into Bedford today to drop off something for KK to post to NZ_M3.
Saw KK, MattCSLCnut, jimb, as well as a guy ive met at Simpsons with a SG CSL and another CSL of a guy I recognised
5x SG CSLs, I guess the Black ones were scared off:hahaha:
weather looked ace and the guys were hooning around amongst a few GTRs, E36s, CosssyRs500 etc, and i wished i had my car.
Good choice of day guys and great to hear the sounds:thumbs:
(Matt got particularly animated with one poor EvoV111 driver who nearly wiped him and jimb out off the track:hahaha::hahaha:)

Was a great day indeed perfect weather for horse power, albeit not enough to keep up with that cossy in a straight line, however i do have half a litre of castrol GTX on my car from trying :hahaha:
I am sure the EvoV111 driver had King Kong's finger in his pants after that "little" spin
Great to meet you chaps  I should have hopped in with you Alex for a few pass laps, to see what the 18'' cups with nitron's was like :bigcry:

Was a great way to end final TD 2010, weather being on our side too for sure! May I also add a v.smelly Cossy that one was too! jibm, seat's there next time.
Matt & I both were tested for our killer reaction times when I had a Caterham spin on last bend in front again too. Finished with a romantic meal for 3 (where did you go jibm?) listening to Matt telling us how lucky he was and walking to the table like john wayne after a brown pants session with the Evo. :hahaha: M1/ M25 was horrible for 10+mile, 40mph plodding! Tiring but good full fat day

Agreed KK  good day to end the CSL TD season has been had, bar that EVO :clown: moment. You guys have NO idea just how close he came :119: to Total carnage, that would have ended the TD early for sure, not to mention destroyed my CSL :bigcry: Lucky I was looking in my rear view mirror, thinking of such a scenario happening only to see it develop right behind me, shortly after. Being in second gear @ 30 mph foot hovering over the loud pedal and lightning fast reactions however saved the day by no more then an inch :119: What is it with the EVO drivers wanting to destroy M-cars, any which way :ban: Anyone remember that EVO Prat @ Spa T-boning the German registered E46 M3 ???
100% thumbs up to the organizers "Focused Events" for "Firm but Fair" no nonsense approach to safety of all others and showing the blind EVO driver the gates out, after his shenanigans.
Good to see familiar faces  Flatout (Rich), KK (Alex) and Shimmy (CSL less) :bigcry: and good to put a face to name Jibm
Not sure about "romantic meal for 3 :gayfight: " but it was great to sit down, relax and have some much needed refreshments  after a Full Phat Day.

Thanx mate
As for the EVO incident ... there was an accident/incident that was being recovered during the TD session so the marshals put the orange flashing lights ON to worn everyone on track to slow right down. I saw the lights and duly obliged by slowing down to 30 MPH with Jibm some distance ahead of me, doing the same. I looked in my rear view mirror thinking & hoping that whoever is going to be behind me soon will see what's going on and also slow down. Just as I was thinking about the possible eventualities, a Silver EVO VIII came around the bend @ full chat ( it's a 100+ MPH sweeping right hander) involved in a mini race :banghead: with a Renault R26.R, obviously ignoring/ not noticing the orange flushing lights :banghead: Next thing I see is the EVO locking up all fours BIG time but still getting large in my rear view mirror, before shooting off the track to the left, somehow recovering on the grass and heading back on track, right towards my CSL's near side :119: :smt100
My thoughts at the time... Ohhhhhh crap :( this is going to be a BIG one... unless I punch the loud pedal... :smt017 NOW !!! As I accelerated away, all I saw in my rear view mirror was a large Silver blur shooting from left to right, right across the track, flying off into the green and almost rolling. At a guess there couldn't have been more then an inch between the two cars as he flew across the track behind me with the dreaded thoughts of "what if I didn't floor it " :119: flying through my head. The marshals back in the pits, who watched the whole event unfold, were 100% certain I actually got clipped.
All I can say is, I'm glad to be here in one piece and my CSL undamaged :smt045 (despite being insured with C.C.I. for such eventualities )

30mph seems awfully slow for yellow flag Matt!
Couldnt you have just eased off and driven by.
Using speeds 100-30 are pretty severe

Not when there was a car is being pulled off the track with marshals about, right there :banghead: Further more, the organizers asked everyone on individual basis to go slow past the incident, as they were letting us on track.
If the Evo driver eased off down to say 50 MPH and paid attention to the road ahead then there wouldn't have been such a drama.
Better safe then sorry I'd say Shimmy ;) + it's not exactly a blind turn that one, as you can see ahead for miles :blalalala: unless of course you suffer from tunnel vision or are involved in a mini race and completely missed the yellow lights
p.s. one shouldn't post when one's Pished ;) :hahaha:

BUt i do remember that the most threatened ive felt on track was when i slowed down to 20-30 mph following a recovered vehicle not knowing whether to pass or not but panicing about what was coming up behind

..Matt & I both were tested for our killer reaction times when I had a Caterham spin on last bend in front again too.
That was a v close call - thought he'd T-bone me after taking you out luckily the momentum took him off track rather than back on as can sometimes be the case..
Finished with a romantic meal for 3 (where did you go jibm?) listening to Matt telling us how l........ Is that why you felt like dosing off on the A421 :hahaha:

Don't worry mate, from what i saw him do or not as the case maybe be on the back straight chicane (vid to follow later) I'd take bigger brakes over HP any day.
Who was the other de-badged SG CSL - anyone from here?
Shim - thanks for the intrax settings as they seemed to do the trick after changing
+++++++++++++++++

In all honesty Rob that pic was taken middle of a 180 degree left turn, a proper aggressive U turn and I reckon even your "Super Duper" KWs would struggle to hold the lardy CSL flat through there  plus my CSL spends most of it's time @ the Ring ( hence the TD plate ) where its OEM suspension is perfectly capable and works very well. ;)
