Cornwall this weekend [Archive]

I know there's some on here who live down in the far far South West. I'm heading down for the weekend, driving down on Friday and be staying near Helston.

Anyone that way? Alternatively, any routes worth detouring to?

I would def take a detour to avoid Rob's house :hahaha:

The A30 is pretty good these days as it's almost all dual carriageway. It may be busy around Newquay though due to the Bank Holiday, but there aren't really any alternative routes worth considering.

Spookily enough i live in Helston right now and BOUNCE lives up in St.Ives. Sadly i'm visiting family at the moment in Scotland otherwise we could have had a CSLR mini-meet!

I would def take a detour to avoid Rob's house :hahaha:

Just outside Wadebridge mate so if you cornish lads fancy a mini meet and a beer i can take a day off from catching congers and bass although i think the weather will keep us on land a few times knowing the cornish storm tides.

Down there with the family next week camping it up at Polzeth. As Bounce says, all of Herts is down there. Give us a wave as you pass our white v dub van, easy to recognise - it's the one with the CSL Cup sticker.;)

Will give you a toot if i see you, leaving London mid morning on Friday and will be going progressively faster as i lose the will to live and try to keep myself amused.
