Just picked my car up this evening and noticed another CSL in the workshops, anyone from here?

No worries, in all the experience i've had with them thus far i've been very happy with the service. Since i bought the car it's been in for the following;

Engine emission light came on - reset (possibly caused by Supersprint cats)
Inspection II service - gave me a very competitive price (less than £900)
Replaced rear view mirror and centre trim damaged by leaking mercury

Sure it's been in for something else as well, but buggered if i can remember now!

Every time the issue has been sorted with no fuss and no issues and comes back clean and tidy. I speak to Matt Grigg there who is very helpful and knowledgeable.

If i was outside London i would probably go to Murketts given the reputation they have, but Battersea are less than a mile from me and you get a complimentary taxi to / from the tube once you've dropped your car off which makes it all very easy. I don't mind paying a little extra at service time (given London labour rates) if it means there's some goodwill with any little issues that crop up.

Haha, yep, been done! had to park under a sodding tree last week which was apparently home to a bird whose dinner has disagreed in quite spectacular style.

All sorted, car's been washed twice since! (i think i'm getting OCD!!)

Just got back from the Ring and err, just washed the car again.

That makes three times in 6 days... :hahaha:

(well i needed it clean to put the sticker on :wink:

BMW Battersea are excellent!

I had about £4k worth of warranty work from them on my CSL.
I have used them for my e92 m3 and z4m as well.

And I have the bills to prove it ;) :hahaha: Complete NEW Vanos system being one of them :thumbs:
I bumped into Matt, the CSL guru from Battersea at the Ring last months. He recognized the reg. as I came back to the Ring car park, from yet another lap :whistle:
Seemed like a nice enough chap :thumbs:

Car still treating you well.

I must say, it was a very good car (bar the warranty work)!
