View Full Version : Wanted M3 csl in either colour with sub 30k miles
Hi
I thought it best to join csl register instead of looking in the classifieds as i assume that you guys have cherished your cars.
I am looking for a csl i would prefer grey but black will be considered if the mileage spec etc are good.
I would like a car with as many options as possible but its must have cd/stereo and xenons. Of course the car must have FBMWSH and warranty is preferable also
Looking for a car with sub 30k miles, the car must not have had any panels the more original the better, i understand that most have had the front end blown in and rear arches blown over.
I am based in bucks i have cash waiting for the right car. I am in no desperate hurry .
If you PM me with your number i will ring you so we can discuss.
I am a private buyer.
Thanks in advance

Good luck with the hunt mate, you won't regret it. I've had mine for 4 years now and never have!
Welcome to the Forum!
Thanks pal just looking for something to tuck away.
Hopefully someone on here will consider selling
Looks like very few of you guys want to part with your cars, i did speak to sam with the "no options" car nice chap and sounded a nice example but don't think the car with so few options is for me but thanks all the same.
Come on the way your all behaving is as if these cars are appreciating in value!!!;)
I will continue the search Nick Johnson has offered me 1 or two cars so maybe i will have to venture down that route and view a few of his.
I will live in hope!

Thanks guys.
I did speak to scott and the car sounded very nice indeed but i have now managed to buy a 17k silver/grey 04 car with warranty with the spec i wanted.
Thanks to all that PM 'd me much appreciated have just had a full day of driving and have to say the car is fantastic not as quick as my EVO 6 extreme but the noise and handling are second to none.

Sweet mate, look forward to some photos.
17K miles? Mine had that when I bought it 4 years ago, mental. Nice find, you'd pay through the nose for that. Keep the miles down, and you'll get a fair chunk of it back though.

Just 44K! 27K in 4 years, :smokin:
:smt035
I will get some pics up over the weekend if the rain ever stops!! Non stop for 3 days and i refuse to put her out in the wet! I know how sad but thats the treatment the evo enjoys so i feel i should treat the CSL similar.
To answer SteveH i did'nt buy either of those cars it was another one, lovely condition as you would expect with just 17k, i am real fussy bugger but having read a few posts on here maybe i'm not that bad!
Hopefully have some pics up over the weekend.

Was it the no options car?
Hi no it was not the no option car, the car i bought was never advertised on the market. My car has afew goodies like climate/aircon/xenons/buiness cd radio and tinted screen, i think thats it!
I did speak to the chap with the no options car which sounded very nice but the lack of air con and stereo ruled me out, although i did enquire about have a stereo put in and rumour has it that the complete wiring loom for speakers and head unit are present even on a no option car.

On the No-option cars does £28k for 27,500 miler in minty mint condition sound OK, great deal or too much??? thanks
As requested pics, i am a poor photographer so excuse the quality of the pics.
regarding the no option car i think £28k is about right if the condition is good having spent months looking many cars had previously had some repair work be sure to check for bmw factory welds etc.
It all depends on how you value the options for me aircon was a must as was a stereo.
Depends on the condition of the car personally i would have made the trip upto scotland to see the scotts black 27k miles car if i had not bought mine.
I know very little compared to most of the guys on here i am sure they will give their 10 cents worth. Just be sure to check the car thoroughly do not get wrapped up in the fact its a csl as even a poor csl will drive well.

Loving your work mate, Evo and a CSL, excellent combination.
Nice garage too, much better that my SHED I'm living with at the moment... :bigcry: Gives me LOADS of room to work though,

Your garage is perfect plenty of space to valet the car indoors unlike mine!
Thanks kind words about the car.
