Saw this catchy plate  yesterday while in Cambridge town centre.
Thought there must be " FA57 TOY " out there, somewhere as well, then I realised that neither would be legally allowed on our CSLs :banghead: even if they were available :bigcry:

I wouldn't ... it's probably the local drug dealer's BE57 TOY and U'd end up in the boot "Lock, Stoc and 2 smokin' barrels" stylee

I know mate... but I reckon the owner can afford the fines to prove U otherwise ;) :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha: ... and it's not just another R.R. ... this is a brand NEW R.R. SPORT SUPERCHARGED Autobiography, near £100K of the folded stuff :smt103 so a £60 on the spot fine will look like loose change :hahaha:

I think I might have mentioned this before but there's a boy about where I used to live in Scotland has a TVR with the number plate W33 NOB! Guy must have a sense of humour to drive that about with that plate! LMAO

Money doesn't buy you taste though does it? Looks fugly to me. What the f*ck have Range Rover done to their styling?:banghead: The Sport WAS a good looking thing once but they seem to get ruined by the accessories brochure. I see cars blinged and plated cars like that and just think "TWAT".:wanker:

Also, he may well be able to afford the £60 fines. It's the 3 points each time that'll f*ck him up.;)

Illegal plates aren't an endorsable offence. Fixed fine but no points. I've been done twice for mispacing mine. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I moved my L closer to 'C5' so it was 'C5L' and my initials, similar to Steve Gills plate when his CSL was road legal.

Silly really as I know at least 2 other cars on here with similarly spaced plates!

But then breaking the breaking the law sadly... :bigcry:

I agree with all U say Alex wholeheartedly except that U don't get any points for doggy plates, just the meaningless £60 fine (beer money for the boys in blue). The RR Sport has indeed become Very Fugly of late :smt078 it was a far better looking machine when it was first released back in 2005... I was one of the first people to photograph a pre production Supercharged V8 model for promotional use :smokin: in Bolivia, out of all places. Some of it was shot on the infamous "El Camino de la Muerte" :smt103 aka the Worlds most dangerous road.

Great pics Matt, I loved your stories of that trip that you told over a beer in the Pistenklause

We had an original '05 RRS - loved that car except it spent most of it's time on a recovery truck :bigcry:Agree that the new ones are bl00dy awful :banghead:

if you alter, rearrange or misrepresent letters or numbers max £1000 fine

if you have no plate by accident (not fraudulently removing) max £30 fine

THANX Alex... indeed we do  The trip was one of these once in a life time types m8  I spent almost a month there and I can say without a doubt, Bolivia is an amazing country with mouth dropping scenery  and the worlds most generous people who'll give U half of the very little that they have themselves.
Pic below of my RR Sport Photo shoot crew... and before U think we had snow in Bolivia ;) :hahaha: it's actually salt @ Solar de Uni, one of the largest Salt Flats in the world.

Correct! I've had a couple of cars where I've not ran a front number plate at all as I knew the fine was only £30 max! Easier to keep one in the boot and say it fell off on the day! ;)

Stunning pics as well Matt! :smokin: :smokin:

Yeah THANX Rich... that was a good laugh
The early ones were quite unreliable, blowing up their diffs and gearboxes :banghead: :bigcry: Strangely though , despite all that, I still fancy having one :smt100
That 55 plate your folks had is quite an early one, considering the pre production Sport I photographed was LHD, US speck but UK registered on a 54 plate

We had to have the Off Road wheels & tyres removed off a spare LR Disco 3 that was some 1000 kms away and flown in after we suffered a double blow out :bigcry: on rough dirt roads, driving on the 20" Bling Bling wheels with 35 profile tyres :banghead: that came as standard on the RR Sport.
We were stranded in the middle of Bolivian jungle for over 4 hours with a UK registered LHD £60K+ worth of useless junk. ;) :hahaha:
The bemused look on the faces of passing locals in their 35 year old TOYOTA Landcruisers was special ;) :hahaha: the look on our faces when we realised we were in the heart land of the Cocalieros ( Cocaine growers and producers) was priceless :smt087  :smt100
