So ..update... shipped out on Thursday night Harwich to Hook, 2 nights in Amsterdam, set off across Holland for the fatherland Saturday morning, camped the night in Berlin. Did the Brandenburg gate, Holocaust Memorial and Checkpoint Charlie early this morning, parked about 4 feet away ! now at a Hotel in Katowice, Poland ready to visit Auschwitz tomorrow, probably stay over , and head to Prague on Tuesday to see friends, maybe stay until Wednesday, then head to Austria to see more friends, then if time permits go to Swiss to see more family, then head home Saturday ! .. hope u all had a good week end :thumbs:

Well ... in hotel after doing Auschwitz II today....very sobering.. went into one building and the missus screamed ! wtf ! ...butterfly, and she has a serious fobia about them, as she disappeared in the direction of Katowice.. I gently cupped it in my hands against the dusty stained window pane...felt its frightened wings trying to beat an escape from my hands as I walked outside with it...into the warm sunshine...I knelt down and placed it onto the soft warm grass...stood up... and stamped on the little fooker !!:hahaha:....just kiddin ! as it flew from my hands, it went away from me, and then flew straight back towards me...and then was gone..I felt as though I had released at least one spirit ...and there wasnt going to be any more death in that camp today ...even a butterfly...
