A few pics from my track day at Anglesey yesterday

A great track perched on the Isle of Anglesey, well suited to the CSL and comes with some picturesque views!

It is quite wide in places - plenty of run off too

The last 2 hours before home were pretty tortuous! :banghead:

Nice pics Rob, I see you've left the back seats out, is it staying like that permanently now?

They went back in for the MOT (only as it was done at my local BMW!) but were removed again last week. Staying out now ;)

Do you think my front Cups would manage another track day...?! :hahaha:

These were a pair of used tyres that i acquired and they already had uneven wear on the outside of the tyre. :bigcry:

If it was the rears i'd take the car to the air station and give them a fitting end via some drift practice :hahaha:

I could always swap them onto the rear i suppose!

Was the wear already that uneven or could you do with more camber?

My car got splattered in black rubber marks that day (black on black) - they come off with a bit of elbow grease but a PITA.

My mates white Turbo looked a right mess.

Did yours survive Ok ?

So they were already that uneven? The only reason I ask is that I thought my wear was uneven at -2.5.

Just a thought Rob, when you cage the car up are you going to keep the standard CSL seats or change over to some aftermarket Recaro's or something?

Not too bad mate - there were never that many cars on track that i got stuck behind anyone for too long :hahaha:

I tend to find MLR days worse for rubber marks as they mostly all use slick tyres :bigcry:

So they were already that uneven? The only reason I ask is that I thought my wear was uneven at -2.5.

Those tyres had come from a CSL with OEM suspension i think and it's setup was probably running -1.5 degrees max camber i would have thought.

I run -2.5 degrees but i feel i would benefit from -3.0 or even -3.5 degrees. I also rarely use my Cup tyres on road which doesn't really help to even out the wear over on the inner side

Will sell the original seats most probably and as you cant use proper harnesses with them.

Good point, I didn't think if you were going to run harness', Recaro Pole Position's are a lovely seat! ;) :smokin: :smokin:
