Decided to give the old girl a treat today and get the polish and wax out.

Spent a few hours and brought back some sort of shine to it.

Few pics,

I think your limited edition plaque is in a strange place :)

most I have seen are located on the carbon centre console, on the slope in front of the hazard switch ;)

Dan,

Just got fed up TBH, every time i was in the garage I would look at my pile of bits and think Oh i must remember and buy this and that to get that bit finished then it was something else and then something else and so on.
Been messing with them now for 18yrs so decided to have a break.
Have kept all the trick bits for it inc the engine and all my RS500 bits so the option will always be there to buy another.
Car was sold as totaly standard with the exception of the Bilstein suspension.

Still have a soft spot for them but just dont have the desire to buy one at the moment.

Really want another MK2 Escort and to do some single venue events so that might be the next purchase in the following year.

Fair enough mate, I know how you feel, have been there many times building projects back up and it's bloody hard work!

I'd love another RS but everytime I get in the CSL I just think "Why the fook do I need one when I've got this" :hahaha: :smokin: :supz:
