Hi folks, just had some new AP discs fitted and upon asking at what torque did they set the gun for the carrier studs I was told 90!:smt107 So my question to the forum is do I get them to undo them all and re-torque at 20-25 or will they have done them some damage? Do I face any danger just leaving it as it, off to Brands on the 19th so if anything needs doing I guess it needs sorting before then.
Cheers all

that's low, I thought I'd seen figures between 18 and 22. So have they strained the bolts?

Maybe they have quoted 'lbs ft' torque rather than 'Nm'?

The correct torque is crtical, so yes, I'd get them checked.
Also check that the bolts are single use. ie. you are only really mean't to tighten the disc to the hub ONCE and in the correct pattern / sequence. I was warned about this by Alcon.
