Had a mate's wedding in Dorset last week and spent the time hooning between Sherborne and Shaftesbury (A30) and Shaftesbury and Frome.... (A350)

Not the greatest roads, but reminded me why i bought the car again :thumbs::thumbs:

Cracking few days of hooning with sport on, shift mode into 5 and the windows down :smokin:

Heartily recommend the roads to anyone in the area, just be wary, Mr Plod was out and about a couple of times, luckily both times i was stuck behind something slow in a 30 zone, which is where they seem to keep an eye out. (and where i do tend to keep to the limit!)

I live here mate and commuted on the Shaftesbury higher road for 2 years day and night! Dorset does has some lovely roads but I'm afraid to get too much speed up in the country due to the sheer amount of Deer and other wildlife that keep venturing onto the roads! :(

Stunning place to live and drive though never the less, I wouldn't change it for a thing! :smokin: :supz:

LIved in the area and went to school in Sherborne for 8 years. My mother still lives there. Agree it's a lovely part of the world.

I lived in Portland/Weymouth for 6 years - loved it there and would be back in a shot if i could! Always lots of traffic police and speed traps around Bere Regis iirc...
