I used the main provider when i bought my CSL:
http://www.hpicheck.com/
None will do it for a black CSL though...

AA and RAC checks both use HPI, so worth checking there if you need to.
Thanks Dan, Jez and I had a look at the HPIcheck.com one last night and the car has clearly been clocked by the current owner, it's gone from 138K to 64.2k in April this year when he acquired it so I'm not even going to waste another phone call on the cnut! :banghead: :banghead:

There can be mileage discrepancies, have had a couple of occasions where the check said there was a problem but upon furthur investigation it was OK (e.g. someone put the wrong mileage down when they sold it, or when someone else did a check etc etc) .. believe you can get HPI to correct their records if you provide evidence (not actually done so tho'!)

Basically what it shows is the mileage steadily increasing from 2002 when it was made up to 138k in March 2010, then the current garage acquired it on 5th April 2010, then next mileage reading was 64k on 24th April 2010!? :bigcry: :banghead:

Yeah that doesn't sound like a typo then :banghead:
Checks I have done just show if there is a mileage discrepancy or not, is this a new feature or did you call the NMR? (National Mileage Register)

This was recorded from the NMR and a couple of entries from DVLA and Manufacturer I think, I've told the Girlf to get onto the NMR and double check today.
