£100,000 + is a joke. There is many better & faster cars for that sort of money
Ring times CSL 7' 50" GTS 7' 40"
YOU CAN BUY FOUR csl FOR THE PRICE OF 1 gts

Makes the GT3/GT3 RS look great value, and the CSL (even at 60k new) an absolute steal!
Looks OK apart from that ridiculous rear spoiler, which just grates IMHO, far too tacky on a 100k car, they should have done better.
Wouldn't mind that (or a regular) S65 lump in a CSL tho', has it been done?

A part of me loves this car, but another part says that you could just about as well build one out of the standard thing and pocket the change to buy an used CSL and have 2 ultimate renditions of the modern M3 rather than just one.
I guess at the end of the day BMW delivered what customers wanted (roll bar, proper buckets, brakes and dual adjustable suspension), unfortunately just not the price - although as the article rightly pointed out, it is some £20K cheaper than what a GT3RS costs (despite the slight performance difference) and if you are comparing it to that, it is a bargain - but then again if you don't believe that, then technically you are saying it's not quite what a GT3 is ... oh the conundrum ....

Who does 7' 50" around the Ring in a CSL!? :hahaha: Not many! ;)
10 sec difference isn't worth the extra money though, your right there without a shadow of a doubt!

eh? think you misread the article?
I quote:
"On price, it struggles. A standard GT3 Clubsport is a better, more rounded machine - but only just. It is £20k cheaper though, and the 911 GT3 RS is better still."
GT3 is about 85k GBP, GT3 RS 105k GBP so this will be RS money by the sounds of it.

The heavy weight explains why BMW finally fitted proper brakes on the GTS, apparently :hahaha: it's still a bit like ...
