cant find it!
some nice person (prob cosmicboy) posted a thread about how to repair holes and sand and relaquer bumper splitters but cant find it anywhere
can someone help me?:bigcry:

do you mean by brand?
a general rattlecan lacquer can be used and will work affectively ensuring all pre-stages have been done.

Yep Halfrauds will do a lacquer in a can.

Great, now all I need is some black filler to fill the holes ???
Any ideas guys (do I remember a thread where somebody filled and laqyered the splitters!)???

What about some carbon fibre?
I have some your welcome to. Repair from the back, epoxy resin then sand and lacquer. ;)

I've just about finished my refurb of my splitters
it's not a perfect job as the amount and depth of stone chips was quite severe but I've rubbed them down as instructed by KK and filled the holes with grey filler compound and managed to apply 7 coats so far of spray lacquer.
They'll do as the bumper still looks like it was parked next to the twin towers in 2001 ;)

You can still see the made good holes as colour match too difficult and up close some of the chips can be seen but 500% better I agree
after 200 miles to Simpsons on Wednesday and 150miles around Silverstone behind DuncanR on Friday they'll probably look as bad as ever!

this time yes, all i had and no time to wait
but if it peels ill rub them down again and epoxy them after the summer
