booked and paid for, fingers crossed its drier than today! it was monsoon like.
Lawsy had me twitching a bit flying into corners with A048's on
Lawsy I knew we were OK coming out of them sideways but I could just see the back end coming round on braking. Also not good when you cant see that much with the rain and I mean not much. They closed the track it was that bad....
Managed to see quite a few off's in the few laps we had
Lawsy, car's looking mint and drives well too

I only popped over to see Lawsy's wrap, I was there for a couple of hours and he took me for a spin, sorry passenger lap, he had his spin earlier ;)
no joke it was like a monsoon, I ended up saying, you can go in for me mate, if I couldn't see I'm sure he couldn't :hahaha: apart from the cars you could see spinning off... then the red flags and lights went on.... phew I think Lawsy would have just stayed out
The wrap is good, I took a couple of pics on my iphone but wont post unless Shane gives me the nod  the car is a track weapon, brakes, wheels, tyres (more dry than wet tyres), seats & harnesses, it is looking well
I have however decided against a wrap for now, maybe later, its defo the way for a track car but I don't want to stand out too much when I'm just loitering round and about ;)
I still want to protect the paint so now I need to find a ventureshield installer in the north... plenty in the south :banghead:
s.mac
14-07-2010, 07:54 PM
before Lawsy rips into me, the spin was due to oil on the track and plenty of it ;)
and it was a no drama spin just one for the cameras that were located on the bend :hahaha:

Cheers John for showing me a few errors of my ways, felt like a right terwat with you in the car, was really nervous for some reason, and drove like a fookin plank. But put what you said into practice and it seemed to help. Bad habits are easy to keep when you have no guidance. So thanks:beer:
Highlight of the day for me was Piloting my mates Caterham r535 superlight, the best car I have ever driven by a long way. Cant wait to get my MK Indy on track now. :smokin:
Oh I had a great few laps with Alex in with me, some serious drift angles through cascades and most other corners too.
