CSL exhaust manifold

hi guys, i cant seem to get much info from other m3 forums on this topic but i just wanted to know if CSL exhaust manifolds are the same as normal M3 manifolds (apart from the weight?). i have a normal M3 and i know someone selling a set of CSL manifolds and wanted to know if there is any advantages in fitting them.

Only weight. Other than that they are exactly the same as far as flow and fitment is concerned.

Unless you are from the USA and then they have cats in the headers and they don't flow for sh*t.

If your car was made post March 2005, then the exhaust manifolds are identical to the CSL - BMW got lazy when the M3 CS came out and decided to just make a whole lot of CSL parts and put it in the M3 CS ;)

The same manifolds can be found on all the Z4 running the S54B32 also.

But yes, as already pointed out - they are the same design as the normal M3 ones just lighter.

what items are you talking about?i had my ss exhaust for sale but decided not to let it go and i had contacted people bidding on it aswel as ebay before the auction ended. maybe not everyone on this forum are cunts like you! just for the record the exhaust is still on my car, i did not put it on ebay to get loads of cash for it and i certainly did not get anyone to place bids on it

its hardy dirt mate since i did not know it had happened, ive been around on various bmw forums for years and havent ever conned anyone. not all of us are as prevelidged as you to own a CSL although being a student and having a e46 m3 isnt bad going.

Not only did you put you SS race backbox up for auction and let it run to the end you then blatantly lied to me and told me your car had been in an accident and you might possibly be able to get the back box off the car when you go and inspect it When all along your car was fine and you had changed your mind not to sell.

You obviously are an idiot cause you told a member on here that you had changed you mind and don't want to sell it. Surely you realize the power of the internet.
