Ian (Yanto) and I popped down to Goodwood early this morning (yawn), bumped in to Steve (Azrael) and saw a few other CSLs there - didn't recognise them though

Hi Guys - was hoping to bump into you guys... next time!!! There were some nice cars on display for sure... The CED Scuds belong to Bachi's mate - Cedric - lucky farker indeed!! As for the Mclaren f1 - He takes a lot of my trades on - Andy... only picked up the car on thursday.. Ralph Schumacher actually raced in that car... looked awesome in the flesh.... and yes... the 458 looked bloody lovely (even though in white!)

Enjoyed it too Ian - likewise am off to pit now!! Shattered.

Amit, sorry we didn't make the cathederal convoy mate, I was out last night and didn't fancy a massively early start - don't think we were that far behind in the end though. Was thinking of giving you a call during the morning as we didn't bump in to you....but never!

Can't get over those two Scuds... I'm doing something wrong in life!!!

Hi MNK, that was me that you spoke to (with Yanto behind) - it was good to bump in to you... lovely car you have.

I had the radio off and windows down all the way there and all the way back

Drop me some contact details and next time we can drive down together from our neck of the woods if you fancy it? :smokin:

Yep - stunning car you have there MNK.....good to see another local out and about

Have one parked opposite me in the underground car park I use - a grey one, also a Wharfer..

The Link does have certain acoustic qualities ;)

As Rich said - always up for a drive out or beer in the Wharf sometime

On another note....Rich, forgot to say, I was lucky the car started at Goodwood...left the fookin lights on in the car park (again !!)

NO COMMENT BOUNCE (OR GEORGE IF YOU ARE CHECKING IN!!)

Yeah, sorry missed you matey....there was some mega cars there, well worth the visit....just been reading Andy's thread on PGT - lucky guy and always seems very modest with it :smokin:

Only disappointment for me was that the stewards were letting in 996 GT3s to the display area and turning away CSL's....no justice...

(although there was one that I didnt recognise the plate of....in the garaged area)

OK, they're not Supercars but they are super cars ! :supz:

Yup mate I've passed my contact details on to Rich so next time you guys are going out for a drive I'd be happy to come along. I used to have an E46 M3 myself but it was a normal one - didn't sound as good as your CSLs going through the tunnel that's for sure!

Also those two 430 Scuderias parked next to each other... my mate was chatting to the owner. The convertible had a plaque in it "Built for Ingrid" - the guy drives the coupe and he bought the spider for his mrs! awesome.

Hi Guys,

I managed to blag my way in and parked in the end paddock. Parked behind my old man's F430.

The chap on the gate did take some persuading! When he said 'its's only an M3' I did feel like giving him a slap! I then pointed out it was 'a special lightweight version' and he let me in. He did however come over tap my door with his finger and say 'that's not lightweight that's metal! You're telling me lies!' He appeared to have given up however, and I contiuned in.:hahaha:

Judging by some of the cars they let in (no offense intended, but they let in an old V12 XJS that was for sale for about £3k according to the ad in the window...), I don't think they had a clue!
