Nice little article in this weeks autoexpress, Andrew Frankel comparing a new Z to a secondhand CSL.
Usual moans about brakes and SMG but overall he loved it and it was the easy winner, as one would expect.
A few quotes:
"...so long as it has been looked after, a secondhand CSL is not only a perfectly viable choice but also as near to depreciation-proof as cars of this age usually get. The engine, despite producing 355bhp from just 3.2 litres, is outstandingly strong."
"...once in any corner, the sheer class of the CSL is immediately apparent"
"When it came out six years ago, I wasn't a great fan of the CSL and its price of almost £60,000. But now, and at half the money, it seems a bargain and one of the best road and track machines that kind of money can buy."
The car was "161 BMW" anyone know it?
