Thinking of storing my CSL next winter in a garage not at my home address: will this severly effect my insurance premium?? Just wondering if experience of this on here?
cheers PP.

Storage companies will inc insurance invariably. But guessing you are referring to a private garage. Will your annual insurance expire by the time it comes to storing it?

PP - my car is parked in an underground secure car park (electric gates / CCTV) quite a few hundred metres from where I live (refuse to leave on street) I inform INS co and they are fine with it - it doesn't seem to affect premium. Sadly, living in East London fookin kills me on price anyway !

I will be interested to hear the outcome on this a my 'long' term aim is to get a Porsche GT3 RS and then will have to store the CSL at an 'off the premises' garage.
I cannot see it not affecting the insurance premium it is just by how much!

my car is not kept at my home address. No price difference as long as the post code/premises fall into the same band of risk.

I store both the porker and CSL away from the house - I work away alot and donĀ“t want it acting as a magnet to the house.
No price difference with Adrian flux especially as the area is in the same band. The only stipulation is that the car CANNOT be left outside.
Or taken to Liverpool :hahaha:;)
