Mole and myself just picked these up as a communications solution for the ring/convoy. Don’t know if anyone else wants to get involved (may already have one), will post the radio channel up later.

Dazza has a mate who sorted us out with commercial grade Motorola units last year - funny as fook with 6 cars in contact! Only cost £10 each to hire.

Will speak to Daz, although it may be too short notice to arrange now...

Failing that, a length of string and a few tin cans might work! :hahaha:

" Uh breaker 1-9 , uh ..this here is the Big bear, you copy me 10-4?"

squelch noise

"Uh Big Bear ...uh ..this here is ..uh ..Rubber Duck, read you 5 by 5, ..uh .. whats your 20?"

more squelch noise

"Uh Rubber Duck ..uh .. im at your back door good buddy " .. ooo definitely squelchy noise !! :hahaha: :gayfight:

You need to go hear chaps and get up to speed with the "10" codes !!:hahaha:

Yep too late for my solutions as my mate is not in the office till next week..

So if you can sort be awesome.. although you lot are on the later train so might be only doable from germany onwards if you manage to get them ..

Did have 6x decent Kenwood units, cost about £200 each (https://www.sitebox.ltd.uk/product/ktk3201/kenwood-tk3201-protalk-two-way-radio/) where I used to work, when we left, my mate took 3, and I took the other 3, now I can only find one :banghead:

So we settled on these cheapy £40 for two jobbies, but they get good reviews so thought we'd give them a go.

Come on 06:20 boys, get on the communication solutions :hahaha:

I also had half a dozen Midlands (18mile range), but can only find 3. So welcome to borrow if you get stuck. They do 50km ones now, bargain! GXT1000VPA (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MIDLAND-GXT1000VP4-36-Mile-50-Km-FRS-GMRS-2-Way-Radios-/220598249946?cmd=ViewItem&pt=2_Way_Radios_FRS&hash=item335cae29da)
