Hello all,

I've just purchased a CSL after wanting one for about 3 years. Over last 9 years I've had 8 Lotus but after driving a number of CSL I knew I had to have one.

Did a deal on an 03 car 2 weeks ago and planning to pick it up on Saturday...it's been a long 2 weeks. Anyway here's a pic...it's been keeping me going for the last 2 weeks.

Only collected my SB CSL about three weeks ago and still in love with the noise!!! Where are based in South Wales often visit the Gower as were based in Gloucester.

Hi, Chepstow so not that far from yourself. Will be picking the car up from Solihull on Sat and will be driving back through Gloucester so you never know you may see me witha big :-D on my face.

Chepstow is only a small town but it's amazing that we know have 4 CSL here out of the 422.

Where do you take your car for service? I purchased mine for a pretty good price as it will be due an inspection2 and it would seem that Cotswald in Cheltenham is one of the best and pretty good value compaired to other dealers in the areas.

Hi Andy, funny you mention servicing ive just booked mine in today for Inspection 2 at Cotswold Cheltenham cost was around £625.

Any tuning type work i get done by Simpson Motorsport in Lydney that shouldnt be too far away from you..

Yep sounds good to me as well.....used to meet up reg with the Lotus crowd when I had one. It was always good fun especialy the runs. Used to meet up at the Abergavenny car park and head off up the valleys/Brecon...great Lotus roads so will have to give the CSL a run around there at some stage.

A car dealer friend in a little village outside Chepstow has just purchased a Black CSL and I'm sure he would come along.

I like the idea of meeting up then going for some runs, so whats next shall we set a date, time, place?

Once I've pick the car up tomorrow I'll think about a meet and route if you want if you want....to excited to think about it at the moment.

Same here..it's 02:40 and I've been up since 2...can't :smt015 . Lets hope I don't fall asleep at the wheel coming home.

BLOOOOOODY HEEEELLL ITS FAST......Even scared myself at one stage around the road from Monmouth to Chepstow.....fantastic car. Going to spend all tomorrow cleaning and getting some good pics down by the Severn......I may even sleep in it tonight :smt055 .
