Guys - does anybody cover the ring ? I see most firms make a point of excluding it (my Admiral policy certainly does). Speaking to CCI yesterday, they also exclude it despitethe trackday coverage and said I would be luck to find a firm that would.
What do people do ? Go without ?

Yup..
Be careful, dont drive beyond your limits and keep everything peeled at all times..
IF the worst happens, off the circuit and down the road or trailer back to blighty and oops accident avoiding a large rabbit

Still no third party cover which is a real grey area.I you hit a motorbike and seriously hurt the rider then what, you are supposed to have third party liability by law in germany to use the ring but will your insurance pay up?:119:

It would be worth asking about that as if they are fully insured it should really cover that aswell in the "ring" insurance.

You may want to take a look at these earlier threads concerning www.nurburgmotorsport.com insurance:

You have to have your vehicle inspected to validate cover
You are only covered for 8 laps (how they count i am unsure...)
Your vehicle is not covered at all against damage
3rd Party vehicles are not covered at all for damage caused by you
Only trackside 'furniture' is covered - barriers, trees, fence, etc.
It aint worth the paper its written on... Fekin shite! :smt012
