With the CSL up for sale I thought it best not to chance taking it to spa/ring and I fancied a change. Plus completion of a sale is on the horizon.

So im back to the jap scrappers

Bought myself a nice 2009 pearlescent white EVO 10 sst., 4k on the clocks

http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy9/lawsym3/xsst.jpg

It will be running standard 300bhp for the euro trip, with Alcon brake kit and coilovers(nitron, kw, exe-tc not decided yet), new wheels and tyres too.

This pic is exactly how it will look bar the bike mirrors;). Same wheels. For the ring / spa trip
http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy9/lawsym3/meanx-1.jpg

It is being delivered wednesday this week and I cant wait, really like this car and I will see how it fares against all the CSL's at spa/ring.

Dont make me feel like an outcast, I may be back in csl ownership and I certainly wont be leaving this place thats for sure:thumbs:, ill still be donating to the site, one of the best forums by far. No, window lickers old one:thumbs:

Think Ill need a bit more power to keep up with the csl tbh.

What times do us hobby drivers get round Spa? Im sure shimmy was pretty quick round there.

Last year at Spa a Evo X did a 2'50" on slicks :supz:

Any thing under 2'54" is quick, It is hard to get under that with a standard CSL

A guy with same car as mine with 390bhp, on cups and KW ran a 2.51 with a tiny bit of traffic, so should be ok once up to 400bhp. But this year it will just be 300bhp and slow:thumbs:

I reckon at 390bhp it should be similar pace to the CSL.

A quote from another thread on here tonight Shane:

This is my second CSL. Sold my last one with 19k .... a big mistake and I have wanted one for the last 3 years. Had the opportunity to try a few cars between (997 Turbo - awesome, M3 V8 DCT- very good, but gutsy, RS6 - awesome and may have another RS6+, Evo X SST - very good, hyper efficient, great gearbox but all too quiet and uninvolving, makes amateur drivers feel like a pro!)

 ;)

it would have been 2m 55 if you'd not slowed at Stavelot to touch up your 'lippy'
