has anybody got the graph/table that shows the comparisons of gear v speed for both stock diff and 4.10 diff? :thumbs:

Not sure if that is the one you are looking for but it should help as you can alter all the info to make it e46 m3 specific.

Using that calculator from phat, it works out that my car will do 243mph in top ! :supz::drool: ....
that Excel programme isnt too difficult to use first time round is it ? :hahaha::hahaha:;)

lol @ being geared for 243 - perhaps revving that high might explain your crank situation ;)

so standard diff is 3,62 and modified (mine) is 4.10 BUT what are the M3 E46 gear ratios!!!!!!! - are those correct?

Buyer beware, the info in the above is ONLY for cars imported into the US ... did they alter them ? You could manually input the info for UK spec cars and the calculator would still work i think

Just so that you have all the correct info, our good friend Andy at Murketts is getting one of tut lads on his lapdancer right now and checking for you/us/them !!:supz: .. keep you posted, he also says no problem sending me pix of my fooked engine

Here is one filled in with the data for the CSL attached, I found the gear ratios here:

Only 6th gear is different to the site that Duncan posted up.

Dunc the only way your car is going to reach 243mh is if I push it off the ramp and over a cliff!
