View Full Version : Advice please
I've just spotted a CSl which is "arriving" at Sytner Leicester. Its up for £36850 in Black Spaphire with 18000 on the clock 03 plate/2 owners.
Seems to have all the spec
A/C - xenons etc...
I know the price is high but i would imagne it would come with 12 month warranty and as i have my car (335D) to part ex i might be able to get a good deal.
Do you think it should be £35000 ?
Well i've bought it. Black CSL 03 , 18000 fsh ( next not due for 11950 miles, 2 owners.
I was offered £2000 more than what my car is worth , so i paid £34750 , its got the xenons + air con and comes with a 12 month warranty.
Its compleatly standard, i do want to add Ap brakes but is there anything else worth adding ?
Sock ( rather happy )
welcome sock
ap's only really needed if you track it
ive been happy with my standard brakes on track providing i dont stay out too long
hope you can make it to the trackday, 3rd june, oulton park

Sounds like a nice car.
I would recomend polly bushes for the rear trailing arms
powerflex do them it stops the rear from felling loose under hard acceleration .
I've not gone ahead . The car i believe was not as decribed when they were taking my deposit yesterday. I hadn't even seen the bloody thing but when i pushed for more information i it didnt sound as he described it the night before.
I've talked to Julian from Simpson Mortorsport and im going to pay for him to come out with me to look at a car when i find one. I'm after a proper mint one thats had alot of tlc with a nice pair of Ap's on the front.

ahh good luck with the hunt
i bet you are glad you didnt buy a black one anyway :blalalala:
Actually i'd have any colour as long as its in very good condition . I want to keep the vehicle for a long time so im after a minter with ideally low mileage.
i've got a minter for sale but its a base model :-D
I know and the mileage is right but i'm after aircon at least.
