does inspection2 include brake fluid change ?

As title my brake fluid change reminder clock just came on, I need inspection 2 soon if its not included will do both together. how do i get rid of the clock ?

No not included with inspection II, the clock comes on every 2 years. you need a plug in to turn it off i believe.

Nah, you clear it on the OBC just like you do with the other service indicators :thumbs:

How many miles over is it safe to go??Anywhere from £700 to about £1200 at a main dealer,pays to shop around,a lot of CSL owners are using Murketts,and i think their price is around the £800 mark,but you know it will be done right.;).I wouldn,t let it go over by to many miles,i asked BMW a couple of years ago and they said up to a 1000 miles would be ok,but i wouldn,t let it go that far to be honest.

Murketts Quoted me £810 last week and my local dealer near on £1200 :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: had quotes from 6 in total and they were all in between that two prices.

Seriously thinking of Murketts even though it's around an 8hr drive one way as talking on the phone they gave me lots of information and came accross as very friendly and competent. 2nd on my list is BMW Perth who were £900ish but pretty local to me (45min - 1hr).

I am also looking to change my brake fluid and fit some hoses but will probably do it myself.
Not going to pay extra for that i'm affraid.

Eric, i would go for an AP one as you've got AP's, not sure which one is the best out of their range, maybe 660? i've got AP's and i'm currently using ATE fluid, seems good, will try AP next

660 is good and cheap, I use the same one as Shimmy, some cheap no name thing from Simpsons that is the same as AP PRF660.
