Hi,

I am confused by KW's definition of hard and soft rebound... I am looking to slow the "spring back" on hard impacts and dips and don't know if this means going for a soft setting or hard setting? I would have thought a hard settings (ie closed valve) would slow the springs pull on the damper, but KWs manual suggest this is the soft setting. Can anybody confirm I need to go soft (ie counter clockwise) to get a slower rebound?

Thanks

As I understand it you need to soften it up a bit.

Will give that a go as a starting point and see if I can tell the difference

On my clubsports / race kit I have the same issue, too hard / crashy on the bumps, so ive knocked off the settings a little all round, softer by one click on the tops and 2 on the bottom ( of each strut that is )

So in answer to your question yes, im also having a play with some different spring rates which should go on when I arrive at the ring on the 29th , currently im running 90N on the front, rear is a formed spring 2003, changing to 70N & 2018 which should give me a much better day to day ride, in relation anyway :hahaha: , but with the tight set up for UK tracks when needed, but for the ring and day to day it;s better to have something like the clubsport a little softer so as to ride the undulations and dips better.

It's a personal thing as well though so im just tweaking and playing until I get the perfect set up combo, and currently only done a combe day and ring weekend with the new kit and they were both wet.

Im also running a larger (race spec) piston rod in my kit, so if still to hard then next step is too revert back to the original clubsport one.

Should be all set up and ready to go the PM of the weekend we get there as mine is being done out there.
