Just done the above after snapping up a reasonably healthy set of Cup+ Rears off Ebay, but didn't bother fitting Cup+ Fronts as the Cups I have for the front have plenty of meat left on them.

However, after a short test drive there, I mean short only a few hundred yards around the Estate, the car felt as if it had major clutch slip in 2nd and into 3rd and also when slowing down for a junction, it was if the car would disengage the clutch completely, like coasting. Which didn't feel nice at all. Any ideas of a simple solution???

Reset SMG thing with the paddles at 40mph and all that Jazz???

Kick it's hole in on a decent couple of mile run?

Any ideas welcome as I was hoping to wear them to the Ring this weekend but if she's going to play silly buggers, I'll have to put the FK452's back on, which themselves aren't too bad on track but was looking forward to having the car back on Cups again. :bigcry:

I've worn PS2 rears and Cup fronts without issue before

I suggest you go out and rag them to get some heat into them.

My non-CSL did the same thing after I first fitted 19s on it which had different radius to the previous 18s. I think once it's done that of its own accord, you don't actually need to do the SMG paddle thing, because it's already done it for you. No harm in redoing it though.

Ok guys, done the whole reset the SMG thing as described in the Manual and it's sorted it.

Drive along at over 20mph, put the car into Neutral and pull the FLAPS back for over 2 seconds, back into neutral and away you go.

Sorted.

Always needed when changing tyres, particularly different sizes.

Just be careful if you do a reset and your CSL is a Black one as sometimes they change back to silver grey as God intended

haha all right, I've done the trackday without resetting it anyway :p

Only thing is tyre pressure indicator came on, probably due to me changing tyres
