When I had mine it was my daily drive...

It is my daily driver so it gets used no matter what and it lives on the drive not in the garage.

Used to be used any weather no matter what, now it's more of a toy so now have Cups and normally only in the dry but if anything is happening she comes out - like yesterday for example she got wet :hahaha:

Only gets used during the summer months but if it's out the garage and it rains then so be it.

Ditto to all above.
Cleaned all underneath, arches, exhaust etc after it coming out of winter storage last week & got completely caked again yesterday:banghead:
...But you really cant depend on the weather otherwise it would never be driven.

I'm going to have to come back to this thread tomorrow morning when I'm sober, because right now I'm pissed and because of that it's looking like there's people who wouldn't drive a CSL simply because it's raining

Last option.

I voted I dont care, because I dont,

If its dry a serious drive is on the cards.

If its wet a sidways fun drive is on the cards.

I get in it and drive to the conditions regardless what they may be.

Cant be arsed with all the polishing, and never driving shit.

You didn't let "Elms" BMW touch your car, did Ya :smt107 ??? I wouldn't let them glance at a E30 "Fleebay Special", let alone a CSL. I think you're implying you visited Murketts BMW who are in Huntington... 20 miles west from Cambridge  Northern bum-boy :gayfight: :finga: :blalalala:

T$ and I were doing exactly thats last Thursday at the Ring, along with some hail and rain at the same time ! Having forked out just over a grand for our JK's we werent about to stand around doing nothing !
T$ was of course on Cups whilst I was on PuSsy2's !
Called it a day when we started leaving tyre tracks in the snow !

Doesn't count as your car is too clean :blalalala: and it looks like it's not been anywhere :gayfight: except a car wash, maybe

I've just had another pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric fitted to the rears as 2-3 mm that was left on the previous pair wasn't going to be enough for a long weekend @ the Ring, even with a spare set of 18" with semi slick Dunlops. Of course it was raining again :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: but I got a great deal on them  so not all bad (£420 for a pair of 265/30/19" all in fitted & balanced)

You'd better not see the couple of pics I took on my phone from the Easter weekends cleaning session then had you! :hahaha: ;)

The Cups I got off Shimmy barely have 3mm of tread I reckon and they are going to have to last a weekend at the Ring and Spa! :bigcry: That doesn't fill me full of confidence! :banghead: :bigcry: :bigcry:

northernjim

they only have about 4mm on to start tho Dan:smokin: so you'll be fine:beer:

I think the MLR have tyre support at spa aswell, so you can get some new rubber if you need too

Cups with as much as 3 mm tread left ?!?! U'll be fine m8  as they are almost NEW.
Road rubber like the G.Y. F1s wear out quicker on TDs. I lost 3-4 mm in four Track Days :bigcry:

Think I may post a few pics of mine in the Tech Area.

What's the panic about Cups wearing out? Mine last very well and wear evenly despite running a minimum of -2 degrees. Set up is critical. Get that right and they wear beautifully.

Been over to Ring with 2mm (and less  ) many times and get back on them fine.
