Data for Spa 2009

I have just downloaded the new Racelogic Circuit Tools software and run my old Performance Box data taken from the 2009 MLR trip to Spa to try it out.

The CT software is miles better than before and even though there are no video shots included last year, the data presentation and ease of use is x10 better.

Here is the screen shot of the best lap and next best laps;

I have highlighted two areas where the two runs are substantially different,

First area is on Pouhon where my video shows i run into traffic on the best lap, just before the corner. Compared with the other lap shown it looses me 0.57 secs.

Second area is Blanchimont 2. This corner is fast (like Eau Rouge) and this shows that the best lap i was hesitent approaching the corner and lost some time but took the corner faster than the other comparison lap but cam e back onto the same acceleration line overall loosing 0.36 secs.

Cant wait to see the video comparison from this years trackdays once i get the new VBox up and running :thumbs:

Blanchimont 2 is such a big balls corner, its all about threading the eye of needle, I was just lifting last year for it in Nathans, but get the entry perfect and I reckon it could be flat ;)

Just checked the data from my fastest in 2009 - 2:54.23

I do brake, but very slightly, max long G is only 0.1G, dropping speed from 128mph to 110mph at the apex

Reckon it would be flat on new slicks though :whistle:

Having the cars nervous owner in the passenger seat slows you down somewhat. :hahaha:

youd be down to 2m 40s now i reckon with the weight loss the straights would be much faster and new slicks youll be corneringon rails

Hope so, it was also the first time I had driven that car on a dry track , so I know the car a bit better now too.

Hopefully Britcar will be back there in 2011, I would love to race there :thumbs:
