I have noticed that my induction noise seems to get a fair bit deeper as it hits the last 3-400 rpm of the rev range before the led shift lights light up.
Is this correct or do I have an issue - the car pulls through the revs fine.

I'm pretty sure mine does this also. Normal i would think.

Sounds normal to me mate.;)
It's normal, it's just where the engine takes on more load for want of a better way of describing it I think :)
I'm also pretty sure mine does it, I have the flap installed and working, flap opens at 3k in sport and 6.2k in 'normal' mode I think doesn't it?

Later in Sport I would have though, 3400 or 4000 even

What difference does removing the flap make?

Earlier RPM Induction noise with no option to have it on or off when activating Sport. I personally like to have the choice, so I kept mine on. + keeps the spiders out when stationary.

I thought that was the case. Might give it a go.
