Thought I may as well make myself useful considering I couldn't take mine :bigcry:I'll put some pics up in a bit.
I think there were at least 5 CSLs.... 4 SG and 1 SB.
Well done Amit for arranging, well organised and a nice sensible drive down with some serious motors :thumbs:Good to meet you matey.
Got a few pics on the move, not great but never taken pics at that speed before :hahaha: If you want plates removed, let me know.

I think I was in the SB one - (Amit - did I meet you in the car park when we pulled up?) Good run down (F355 behind me!) and my first Goodwood event.

HK04 was me... The first time you went past taking pics on the A3, I was a bit preoccupied as my passsenger door was open. I had to stop to close it, then catch up again.
4 CSLs at the head of the convoy was great, although I'm not sure how the main pack eventually arrived ahead of us. Somehow me and another guy (John or Jon, not sure which) ended up in the off-circuit carpark about 30 secs after the rest of you had been waved through to the middle :bigcry:. Perhaps they felt they had their CSL quota by then or something.
TMAQ, this is you leaving I think. The girls look like they're having fun.

Looks like you guys had a good day, sorry I missed it today but due to personal commitments I had dinner with the family today and didn't want to miss it.
I'll be there next time and still went out to stretch the CSL's legs this afternoon :)
shame didn't get a chance to meet up outnumbered. yes thats me, (the ugly one driving). think the girls were happy as we were going home ;)
was a good day, all be it a bit cold and wet, nice roads on route. pity we couldn't get all the CSL's parked together. they did have the F1 on in the end, in one of the pit garages.
no worries Dan, see you at the next one if not the ring in may. was good to meet some of you, put faces to names.

I got there before you all and was parked up in the middle paddock. I saw you all come in but by the time I had finished eating my cold full english you were not near your cars.
Was it me or was I the only CSL there with standard brakes. I spotted yellow pair of APs, a black pair of APs and a pair of CSL Cups.
Tino I got you text but only on the way home - did not stay long as it was so cold.

Mine also has std brakes... but you probably wouldn't have seen it, exiled in the gulag, as it was.

Good to meet a few of you, i think i counted about 7 CSLs in the end.

nice photos btw rich - and thx again for heads up on the R32 - passed it on to others and they saw the little farker waiting there!!
once again - was great putting faces to the names.. until the next time!
It's a shame we got split up when entering Goodwood and didn't get to park together...we only managed to catch KarbonKid and Amit yesterday as they were parked in the same area. :bigcry:
Nice pic outnumbered - I think that was just after we blasted through the tunnel on exit?

No worries, I was hoping you'd pass it on to others, if it saved one person getting a tug it was worth it
Watch out anybody living in that area by the way, there were numerous unmarked copper cars about, including a grey R32 that lit up like a xmas tree behind us

Good idea, I am guessing next time we'll be straight in to the visitors car park (theme being "Everything But The Car") so might be an idea to make sure all the CSLs arrive together and ensure we can all park together :smokin:
August 1st might be a good one to attend - "Performance Car Legends" - plus I am hoping 7am on 1st August might be a bit more bearable weather wise - but you never know in this country :hahaha:

I arrived at Guildford with 2 other cars and managed to speak to Mole & TMAQ briefly iirc, (not sure which one was which?). You guys seemed to have left first leaving the slow group behind, so didn't get to speak in real depth. Would have been intense to have had all CSLs in convoy to GW. I had Cups on and boy it wasn't too wise with the crap we had in the early part of the morning, but cleared up later.
Did see a lot of CSLs but no owners in sight, partly because we spent a good 1.5 hours+ in the Cafe, and to come out to notice most cars gone! So we made our way to Midhurst finding a nice Pub for a quickie. On route with a Zonda, where we pulled over at GW Kennels, to take a few snaps. Hope to see you all at the next one.

mate - sorry to hear the bad news - was speaking to mole as he has a similar prob with the alternator it seems... try and push BMW to do it thru warranty as a goodwill gesture... I managed to do this with Sytner last year when mine packed in... ALTERNATORS should not be failing after 5-6 years

Sounds like a good idea, 1st August definately sounds like a good one. Perhaps we could arrange a nearby rendez-vous before entering the grounds to ensure we all arrived together?

LB04 was mine, SB, on std brakes. Saw others in the paddock, but no owners around them as I was passing. Another nice SB was in a shed in the corner. Shame not one CSL was placed on the straight though, just a standard yellow one?

Sorry Jeffers, got that wrong!

How much do the sills cost ? Mine are looking well ropey (and I only have the Named Component warranty which doesn't cover that sort of thing).

the CSL sill strips are currently £110.72 from cooper parts online. sure a stealer would do a pair for £200 (incl a discount) or another supplier maybe cheaper?

Might be worth calling a dealer just to check if you're after some as I may be talking b0ll0x, but I remember they were £80 each about a year ago, Cooper are showing £110 each now like you say but think that's an outdated price as latest I heard was around £150 each :banghead:
