Okay this is a bit of strange post.

But a member from here and m3forums contacted me last year regarding a seller avants4 on m3forums about a set of Alcon brake he purchased but didn't take home with him to the UK (I think) - so he supposedly returned the kit - I purchased my kit from avants4 a long time ago without issues.

But I received a PM from Rezmund about it here it is:

You heard from Brian Henderson at all? I bought a kit off him last year but he sent them to me too late when I was in the US and I couldn't take them back to the UK with me. Since had my mate send them back to him and since May not heard from him, despite having paid him $5500 for the kit!

Now, I spotted this on m3forums parts section today ... coincidence? Perhaps an innocent explanation maybe?

I did a quick search on his posts and seems that he's sold tyres and wheels in the past, so somebody must know him.

I sorted it with Brian, he was moving house and lost job etc but sorted it in the end. Yes, that's my profile on Pistonheads. Both my CSL and Fabia are currently for sale, CSL almost sold (awaiting final answer from an interested party)

Nice to hear there was a good ending, and it wasnt a usual forum sale gone wrong.
