I was slightly concerned by Englands performance earlier. Shocking!:banghead:

For some reason, I now don't care quite so much.:partyman::drinkers::smt100

It looks like the ideas are there, but the execution just isn't. Tait is looking good, but Flutey isn't taking the pressure of the FH at the moment.

And i don't think Borthwick deserves his place in the team, let alone the captaincy.

But funnily enough, as the evening went on, i cared less too!

I'm probably unusual in being less Xenophobic than most (English and Welsh alike) given that I follow Cardiff Blues and Wasps & enjoy a trip to Twickenham

Got to say that both were depressingly CRAP yesterday & we over-rate ourselves (respectively)

NOT good signs for the next RWC for either side...

REALLY hope England spoil France's Grand-Slam party over in Stade...a la last RWC :)

Have to say lost on me the whole RUGGER thing, apart from your allowed to drink whilst sitting and watching... they spend the whole game trying to kick it out of play ...

Role on the real world cup, great year of footy coming and you never know :hahaha:

As a Saints supporter, I think my previous rants about that Tigers twat ( wouldnt call him that to his face of course !) Johnson, leaving out Ash and Foden, have been more than justified after last night, just a shame they couldnt finish off winners,:bigcry: and dont blame Ash entirely for that failing guys!... but he did kick ahead too early...and perhaps shouldnt have kicked at all given the support alongside :banghead:.
And what a bollox reply Johnno gave when asked if things had of been different had he of picked the likes of them earlier !!! Of course they would have been different, we wouldnt have had to watch Armitage kicking it back all the time or dropping it ! Foden is World Cup material for sure, and possibly Ashton... hope Saints can keep hold of them as long as possible ! Hope we beat Gloucester today in the LV Cup too !

I think it's difficult. Yesterday was a much better England performance for sure. However Delon had a great Lions tour and showed real promise. You can't drop guys on the basis of 1 poor performance, but admittedly Foden should have been played much more. I haven't rated Monye at all this 6 nations, he looks like he's run out of ideas, but Ashton is inexperienced at Union international level. They both have very promising futures though.

I think it was a shame that Lawes was sent back to Saints, i would have given him a game with Borthwick out, he's another one for the future. I really don't rate Borthwick at all.

And i rate Bryce Lawrence even less!

Delon certainly played better in SA than of recent times, I was on the Lions Tour , my 3rd in succession, and our 3rd losing one ! :bigcry:
im obviously going to be slightly biased Johnny:whistle:.
Agree about Lawes, shame he didnt shine in the 6 nations as much as he does in the Prem, some of his hits are quite frightening! I agree we have probably seen the best of Borthwick, Lawes just needs more big game time I think and then lets see what happens.

Well done Saints on winning the LV Cup and securing a place in the Heineken Cup next year, nice to watch my mate Digger lead them out for his 100th Club appearance :supz:
