Hi guys,

Looking forward to get back in a couples of days my Csl under mechanical repairs near Le mans , I Fortunatly need to get it back on trailor home according that my front brake disk is not looking good, I have a double axes trailor nearby for Free and it could Match to bring back my Csl, but I'm looking closer for 2 dimensions that I can't find on different overall Csl dimensions pages and technical documentations

I have found the general dimension Length/width/height witches are 4,492m/1,780m/1,365m and some general extra ones, But I would like to have or get 2 other standard Csl dimensions witch are not indicated on Csl doc I have, I would need the dimensions widthness of the front Axle and rear Axle from external tirewall to tirewall (or rim to rim)

The Overall Csl brochure give a single widthness: 1780mm but I suppose that is the body

Is there a Csl owner volunteer to check out overall front and rear axle from tirewall to tirewall on his own car for me? I would really appreciate some help on that one to be 200% sure it goes on that trailor

Cheers Lads

I have some very approximate measurements for you...!
Would be interesting to see how much they differ from Robs!

Front tyre wall to tyre wall - 176cm
Rear tyre wall to tyre wall - 180cm

Again, these are very approx, so leave youself a few cm each side to be safe.

Hope this helps, and again, would be good to see what Rob comes back with!

God knows how I measured 40mm wider at the rear than the front, but at least our front measurements were the same

Nope! But to be fair I had limited access at the back of the car and struggled, the front was more accurate and I think we can safely say 1760mm all round!

Snap! Exactly the same - 1760mm FR/RR - no spacers fitted at the moment.
