You are the best man to ask ?
The CSL or the New v8 M3 if you had to choose which 1 would you keep ??

The CSL or the New v8 M3 if you had to choose which 1 would you keep ??

That's a hard one Mark. I like both cars equally, but if I had to give one up and I had to use it as a daily driver also with some occassional track work, I'd keep the V8 to be honest (I like the sat nav and stereo system too much :hahaha:) - I'd get the non EDC version however so you can go aftermarket suspension without worrying about the EDC module.

However, having said that if you are a going to be using the car predominantly for track work, then it'll have to be the CSL hands down - it's a cheaper car to get into and there's a lot of proven products out there for it - you also know the car well and know all its quirks and limits.

For you I'd probably suggest that you stick with the CSL - not for nostalgic reasons or the fact that you run this website, but really you'll probably miss the CSL everytime you head to the track if you had the V8 with you instead. Outright speed the V8 definitely has the edge, but when it comes to turning corners, the feedback from the V8 car takes a little getting used to, but in no way less so than the CSL in grip levels.

Potential wise, the V8 can be made into a great racecar or track slag that would be no slower than a CSL if not quicker.
