Hi Guys

Can any body give me an indication of what sort of mileage you get out of a tank full (normal driving, not tracking) and how many litres is the petrol tank?

Hopefully about to pull the trigger on a SG CSL but a work location change is imminent meaning lots of mileage to be done, which isnt the end of the world for me but just nice to know how much time I'll need to spend at Shell

Cheers
Max

Steady motorway run I have seen 34.4 mpg,

Hope that helps

About 280-300 miles a tank, 22 mpg average although a steady 90 on the motorway should get it to 27-28.

Driving Miss Daisy's should be able to get it over 30...

28 is the most I have had.

A full tank is 63 litres.

Driving in Swiss highway (140-150km/h) I have 9 lt/100km.

When driving like Miss Daisy I have had 32mpg on motorway runs. I have had 360 miles from a full tank before. Unfortunately, you will find it hard to resist sticking your foot down to get the noise...

I generally get 24mpg overall with mixed driving on road

Exactly the same MPG figures as Rob (glebdog74). Averaging 24 mpg but I've had consistent 32 MPG on a few occasions when driving @ a sturdy 70 MPH on motorways. The lowest I've had was 11 MPG :119: (overall average consumption) but that was after a whole day @ Bedford Autodrome, pressing On, on the circuit.

Average about 25/26mpg with a mix of town/A road/M way etc, but can see early 30's if on more of a cruise and being gentle with her.

Sounds like your right foot is about as heavy as mine :hahaha:

So on average with a bit of motorway mileage it should be possible to get about 300 miles to the tank?

am I the only one here who thinks it's a crime to buy a CSL to have to commute a long way in it?:bigcry:
btw I averaged 30 MPG on the way back from Germany, including 140 on the Autobahn but mostly 80-90, some slower through heavier traffic, this soon fell when I got back to the UK though:thumbs:

It's a crime to stick it in a garage and drive a shitebox all day (but sometimes an unfortunate necessity)

I seem to be averaging about 22mpg and get about 230 to 240ish out of a tank before i chicken out!

I live in London which doesn't help. I notice a big difference as soon as i get on the motorway.

63 litres = nearly 14 gallons... so at 25mpg should be able to get nearly 350 miles out of a tank... 30mpg would be over 400 miles.
