Typical! Lived in Beckenham, Petts Wood and Bromley all my life, then move to the Isle of Wight and suddenly there are lots of csl's around in Kent!
Hmm I have many memories of the Daylight!! or maybe not so many memories due to excessive Staropramen. Also Mings chinese opposite. Hmmmm yummy. Love the way they did their "bird" carrot sculptures.

Hello to the Kent massive. As Alex pointed out I am in Bromley. Many a sessions in that pub. I have just got home from picking my daughter up from Petts Wood.
Maybe we should do a local Kent meet, I know there used to be a German car meet called Prept on the 3rd Wed of each month. Could be good for us all to go when it stops pissing with rain.

I'm very near to petts wood too.
Sadly I've not got a CSL yet (but I do want a SG one)...don't think you'd appreciate me turning up in an 800hp Skyline drag car :smt073

Nah mate. Giles' is a gold R33, the Top Secret Drag R. Giles is being a little conservative because it's ultimately mapped for north of 1000bhp. :bigcry: Anyone remember the Japanese chap who got done while demonstrating the Top Secret 1000hp Supra on UK roads @ around 200mph down the A1? He built this R33. It's the stuff of legend.:smokin:

Thanks Alex...everyone's going to think I'm a chav now ;)
The latest memory recall on the dash below, it's not GPS obviously so I doubt it's accuracy but she goes well for an old datsun !

I run it around on it's pump fuel map @ 1.6 bar usually...but on race gas it's been mapped to 2.3-2.4 bar so should be knocking on the door of 1000hp. Sadly we never got the chance to use it properly before Rob passed away :smt009
